Gayatri Degree College, an undergraduate co-educational College with Arts, Commerce and Science streams, affiliated to Kakatiya University.

Faculty : The academic reputation of the institution lies on the the shoulders of the faculty. The secret of our success lies in identifying and retaining dedicated, experienced and qualified faculty in all the disciplines. the quality of class room teaching is enhanced through lectures by eminent Lecturers

Library : Fully equipped library is available nearly 2,000 books and 918 volumes of text books and reference books with 100 National and International Journals including , and magazines besides newspapers in English and Telugu.

Computers : The college has 50 computers and Internet connection but a formal computer central facility is yet to develop. Fully Air Conditioned computer lab with computers of latest configuration, he drawing tables are od Hi- Tech adjustable type. Students can work

Communication Development : The admission to different courses of the college is on the basis of academic performance in the qualifying examination. Knowledge and skills of the students are assessed through class tests and term-end examinations. Remedial classes, Advanced students are encouraged through departmental seminars, additional assignments, more library facilities and students to participate in-group discussions, question answer sessions and departmental seminars.

National Service Scheme (NSS ) : The college has extension activities in the areas of community development, health and hygiene awareness, social work, medical camps, adult education and literary, AIDS awareness and blood donation. a number of the volunteers participated in National Integration Camp, a few good number of NSS volunteers are also took part in Inter-college camps, youth leadership camps and district level youth festivals.

Sports & Games : The department of Physical Education offers all the facilities and infrastructures to keep the students fit and inculcate sportive spirit. The students have been representing the college on various occasions like Inter-Collegiate, Inter-University, National level, etc To mention a few facilities which the students have been regularly using are a well equipped gymnasium, Facilities for playing out-door games such as cricket, football, volley ball, badminton, tennikoit, etc have been provided .The trainees can also play indoor games such as table-tennis, caroms and chess
